Fred She Said SUMMER 2012 DT CALL

Fred She Said Digital Designs is looking for designers who love floral and decorative designs.  Fred She Said sells outline images, pre-coloured images, patterns/templates/frames/ornate designs, papers and SVG/GSD cutting files for digital cutting machines.

Applicants must enjoy and have experience using digital materials that I have mentioned above, the ability to print, and perhaps, though not necessary, have use of and experience with SVG or GSD cutting files with  a digital cutting machine.  Good photographs of your designs are a must and having a blog and a presence on various papercrafting and cardmaking forums and challenges are an asset.

Most of the Fred She Said designs have a floral or nature theme and there will be some Christian/Inspirational designs as well.  Please don't apply if you  are only interested in  character digi's. 

DT requirements are minimum 4 designs per month and participation in some of the activities and blog hops, Fred She Said will have.  Compensation will be all products released during the term and any products from the Store as long as you complete  one or two designs using that product.

Please email me (   fred.she.said@gmail.com  ) before  Monday, June 4th Midnight EDT with a bit about yourself , your blog, forums you participate in, any DT's you are on or have been on, as well as 2 or 3 designs that you feel represent your style.

DECISION will be made and announced Wednesday June 6th on the Fred She Said Blog.

CARD - pink floral & Ornate Oval Frame

Hey all!  Here is a birthday card I made for my mother.  The floral was made with the Build a Floral Spray cutting file set and the Ornate Oval Frame cutting file.  Rose was made with various distress inked  layers of  paper petals  all closed together with a small brad.  Then I  spritzed with homemade glimmer sprays to moisten and then scrunched and  gently unscrunched all the petals.  The leaves were painted and spritzed with distress inks and homemade spray as well.  The frame was cut from cereal box and painted with a vintage white acrylic paint and then a layer of Ranger Distress Crackle paint.... then sponged with distress ink so it stuck in the cracks.  The background was made with alcohol inks.

CARD - Come and Get It Challenge

Hey all!

I am sponsoring the Come and Get It Challenge Blog today.

 The FSS DT and I were invited to play along.  The theme is a sketch.  Here is my crack at it ;)

The image is from my new Dragonfly Flower Doodledallion Digi Set. I used watercolour pencils and a dove blender pen to color.  The embossed panels behind the image were fun to make.  I scribbled various rainbow colours of artist chalk pastels onto the raised design then brushed slightly watered down acrylic white craft paint until the colours started blending together.  The bottom panel is white cardstock with a aqua coloured acrylic paint smeared on using a cosmetic sponge.  I added stickles and pearl eyeballs to the dragonfly.

Donna made another wonderful Paper Set ... Yummy Delights!

I made a Dragonfly Flower Doodledallion Set.  It originated from a dragonfly I had in rubber form from my first foray into rubber stamps.  Here is a card I used the dragonfly on , along with rose and frame from the Ornate Pearl Frame and the Build a Floral Spray cutting sets:

See this frame? I should have a hand cuttable coloured frame set next week :)

 I converted the dragonfly to digital and thought that he needed something to land on :)  ... hence a new doodledallion!  This set comes with sentiments, several borders.. and whole bunch of elements.  This set is uncoloured.  Pre-coloured version/s should be available soon ( next week ).

Cutting Files in the Store

Hey all!  I have some cutting files in the store.  These are for electronic cutting machines (file formats: MTC/SVG/Vector PDF/DXF/GSD/Silhouette Studio).

The above frame I plan to offer pre-coloured printable frames for those who don't have electronic cutters.  I am aiming for next week. This one is my favourite cuz you can add pearls or bling to the little circular parts :)
